Renovation of Condamine Market in Monaco: project details and completion dates
In February 2027, the renovated covered gallery of the Condamine Market in Monaco will open with new services and preserved atmosphere.
Progress of work and deadlines
Six months into the reconstruction of the Condamine Market in Monaco have confirmed the work schedule: completion is scheduled for February 2027. The main stages, including strengthening the foundation and creating new galleries, are already nearing completion. “Each stage is being carried out according to plan,” notes Marjorie Crovetto, advisor on environmental issues and sustainable development.
New services and concepts
After reconstruction, visitors can expect:
- A built-in bar with “a variety of quality offerings” following a call for bids;
- An inclusive snack bar at the Topaze kiosk for the employment of people with cognitive impairments;
- Completely updated engineering systems, including electricity and ventilation.
Ecology and local participation
94% of the 1080 tonnes of construction waste has been recycled. Some of the lighting fixtures have been donated to the city of Bozole. Traders actively participated in the design of their future pavilions - their projects will be approved by the end of the summer.
