Fire in an Apartment on Latur-Mobur Street in Cannes Contained

Course of Events
The fire started around 8 a.m. in an apartment on the second floor of a residential building on Latur-Mobur Street. According to preliminary data, the cause was a malfunction of the washing machine. The apartment was empty at the time of the fire, preventing any human casualties.
Firefighting Operation
25 firefighters arrived at the scene with seven pieces of equipment. Thanks to their prompt actions, the fire was quickly contained, preventing it from spreading to other floors. “The situation was brought under control in the shortest possible time,” noted a representative of the Cannes fire service.
Evacuation of Residents
For the safety of the residents, they were temporarily asked to stay in their apartments during the firefighting and subsequent ventilation of the premises. None of the residents were injured, and everyone was able to return to their normal lives after the operation was completed.
