Patrouille de France and French Air Force Pilots to Perform in the Skies of Menton at the End of August

30 August 2026 in Menton will host a large air show featuring the Patrouille de France and the French Air Force aerobatics team. The three-day aviation festival will begin on 28 August with the opening of the themed aeronautical village.

Air Show Over the Bay of Sun

On 30 August in the sky above the Bay of Baie du Soleil in Menton, the main event of the summer will take place - demonstration flights by elite French pilots. The program includes synchronized aerobatics, simulated air combat, and unexpected surprises from the organizers. For the first time, the civilian aerobatic group Epsilon Team will participate in the show.

Aviation Village and Rare Exhibits

From 28 to 30 August, an interactive exhibition will be held on the esplanade of Francis Palmero:

• Flight simulator and ejection seat for trials
• Exhibition of models and aviation equipment
• Meetings with pilots and French Air Force specialists The highlight of the program will be a demonstration of the military transport aircraft A400M.

Road Restrictions

“This is a great opportunity for Menton to end the summer season with a bright free event,” notes Virginie Simonchini, Deputy Mayor for Events. On the day of the show, the Promenade du Soleil will become a pedestrian zone, and the bay area will be temporarily closed to navigation.

International Cooperation

The event is organized by the Menton City Hall and Bleuciel Airshow company with the support of Nice Airport, the authorities of Monaco and Italy. This is a rare example of a cross-border aviation event on the French Riviera.
