Incident on Larvotto Boulevard
On the morning of 14th July 2026, a collision occurred on Larvotto Boulevard in Monaco between a 21-year-old scooter rider and a 63-year-old pedestrian. The young man suffered a facial injury, while the woman suffered injuries to her thigh and leg.
Victims taken to the hospital
Both victims were immediately taken to the Princess Grace Hospital Center (CHPG). Their lives are not in danger, but they require medical assistance. Monaco’s firefighters provided first aid, and the Public Safety Service temporarily closed traffic on the express road towards Menton.
Investigation of circumstances
According to Monaco authorities, an investigation is currently underway to determine the causes of the incident. In particular, it is being checked whether the scooter rider was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. It is expected that the results of the investigation will help establish the responsibility of the parties involved.
Road closure
