Actors from "Emily in Paris" dined at Noto restaurant in Nice

Before the premiere of the final season of “Emily in Paris” two actors from the series dined at the Noto restaurant in Nice. A photo at the entrance to the establishment appeared on the restaurant’s social media — and spread across local communities within a few hours.

Dinner a stone’s throw from the Old Town

On Thursday, 4 September 2026, Noto on Rue Saint-François-de-Paule — between Old Nice and the Promenade des Anglais — published a photograph that did not go unnoticed. The picture shows two actors from “Emily in Paris”: Samuel Arnold, who plays Julien, and Bruno Gouery, who plays Luca. They stopped in for dinner and agreed to be photographed at the entrance after the meal.

Noto opened in Nice as the southern counterpart to its Paris namesake: Sicilian cuisine, live music and a distinctly festive atmosphere, with the kitchen led by Emilio Gianoni, who worked at the Four Seasons George V (COTE Magazine). In the comments under the photo followers immediately recognised the actors, and someone joked that it was time to book a table in the hope of meeting the rest of the crew.

Why the actors were in Nice

This was not a random visit: filming for the sixth and final season is taking place on the Côte d’Azur right now. From 28 August to 10 September 2026 the team is working in Nice and its surroundings — the local casting agency was recruiting extras of a “very fashion” type, promising €98.48 gross for an eight-hour shift (Nice Premium). In the summer the series had already been looking for extras in Monaco.

The season’s shooting period began on 11 May 2026. In early June the crew worked in Monaco: Lily Collins was filmed in the pit lane during the Formula 1 Grand Prix, which this year took place 5–7 June — and then part of the filming moved to Greece. Competing with the series for locations is “The White Lotus”: the fourth season has been filming on the Riviera since April 2026 — in Cannes, Saint-Tropez and Monaco (France 3 Côte d’Azur). Film and fashion have been coming to the Riviera for a hundred years — only the names in the credits change.

The finale will be released at Christmas

The sixth season will be the last: Netflix will release ten episodes on 24 December 2026, which the platform announced at the end of August along with first footage (Variety). So viewers will see views of Nice and Monaco on screen during the New Year holidays — and for now you can catch them in the original, alongside the actors, somewhere on a terrace in the Old Town.
